Holiday Gifting Guide
This is my first year creating a gift guide and it makes me so happy!!! If you know me well, I am not the type of person that gets in the holiday spirit before Thanksgiving, but this year I am feeling it!!! My family is celebrating Christmas in Florida this year and I feel like I need to soak up all of the Christmas spirit before we leave. The Christmas season to me is hot chocolate, Christmas trees, carols, and cozying up by the fire… the birth of Jesus too, of course! It will be so strange being on the beach listening to Christmas music, I really can’t even picture it. That means, enjoying as much of winter as I can while I’m here in Ohio this season! To get myself in the spirit I really wanted to come up with something fun to help my clients get excited about gifting this year!!
Of course, as a photographer, I am going to suggest that photos be a part of your gifting this year, but FOR REAL printing your pictures is an incredible gift! A few years back I printed some images for my dad, of us on my wedding day, as part of his gift and he still talks about it to this day. He told me he displayed the photos in his office and that his co-workers even comment on the pictures, tool! Capturing memories is great, but having those memories displayed somewhere, as a keep sake, is even greater!
If you had photos taken with me, within the past couple of years, I highly recommend one of these gifting items for your parents, grandparents, or all of your loved ones! It can be a super sentimental gift for them and will be a special give that won’t go to waste! If you had couple/maternity photos, printed images can be a great gift for your spouse, too!! Wedding Album
Several of my couples have said that one of their best decisions was their wedding album. They’ve mentioned that they love to keep it on their coffee table and when guests come over they enjoy flipping through and re-living their special day! If you didn’t purchase an album initially, this would be a great opportunity to gift one to your spouse! It’s even a wonderful gift idea for parents, or grandparents! Portrait Session Album
As I mentioned before, regarding wedding albums, albums, in general, are an amazing gift!! If you had family photos taken, or couple photos taken, it’s a great keep sake to have displayed in your house! Parents who are sentimental love to see their images printed! Printing your images is a great way to quickly look back, without having to scroll through your phone to find your images. It feels so much more intimate and special, seeing your images in print! Glass Photo Box
This gifting item is a great option if you’re looking to print your images, but don’t want something as extravagant as an album. The glass photo box is a fun way to store and display some of your favorite prints! Whichever photo that you choose to place on top becomes the display image and it can be changed at any time! I think this is a great gift for anyone and can be displayed anywhere throughout your house! Remember, that it is delicate and should be kept in a safe place! Prints + Holiday Cards
If you would love to print your images, but have only a few photos that you are interested in printing, this gifting item is for you!!
